Just Ask and It WILL BE Given

If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all [men and women] liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. (Jas 1:5)

Nothing is too demanding or trivial for God. As we are believers in the way, we have the wonderfully unique ability to get wisdom from the Creator of the universe the one who gave us life and called us to His higher purpose for us. At any time we can call on Him to give us direction and guidance as we navigate the highway looking for our next exit to take. We can ask God and He will lead us in the ways we are intended to go. For His Glory Alone, we move and do and work.

I was given a passage today from Romans 11:36, "for of Him and through Him and to Him are all things, to whom be glory forever, Amen."

I had the passage highlighted in my study Bible, so I must have given it, at some time in the past, thought and meditation, however, I don't remember the context of why I highlighted it. Yet, it speaks to me now.

We get wisdom when we ask God. He gives it to us generously and we use that to glorify Him in everything. It is in everything that we do, say, work, act. We only have today tomorrow is of the devil and yesterday is no more. Today is the acceptable day of the Lord, meaning we need to ask everyday and we need to glorify His name everyday for everything we do is for Him alone and for no one else. When we're teaching our children or directing our employees or meeting people for the first time or in the work we labor at, that we do everything, everything for Him. God is the source, He is the means, and He is the end of all things. He is the creator. His Goal is to sustain us in everything, therefore, He should be praised and glorified in everything, forever. It's for Him, it goes through Him, all decisions, and it is all for Him, all things forever. When we work for ourselves and not for God we have no fear the Lord. And, that is a dangerous place to be.
